Hadith 1269
1269 صحيح حديث جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ رضي الله عنهما، قَالَ: نَهى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ، عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ، وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْخَيْلِ
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that on the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the meat of donkeys and permitted (the eating of) horse meat.
Hadith 1270
1270 صحيح حديث أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رضي الله عنهما، قَالَتْ: نَحَرْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَرَسًا فَأَكَلْنَاهُ
Narrated Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her): We slaughtered a horse during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and ate it.
