Hadith 1193
1193 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: النَّاسُ تَبعٌ لِقُرَيْشٍ فِي هذَا الشَّأْنِ، مُسْلِمُهُمْ تَبَعٌ لِمُسْلِمِهِم، وَكَافِرُهُمْ تَبَعٌ لِكَافِرِهِمْ
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In this (matter of caliphate), people follow the Quraysh; the common Muslims follow the Qurayshi Muslims just as their common disbelievers have always followed the Qurayshi disbelievers.
Hadith 1194
1194 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: لاَ يَزَالُ هذَا الأَمْرُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ مَا بَقِيَ مِنْهُمُ اثْنَانِ
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This caliphate will remain in the hands of the Quraysh as long as there are two men among them.
Hadith 1195
1195 صحيح حديث جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، وَأَبِيهِ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ السُّوَائِيّ قَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: يَكُونُ اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا فَقَالَ كَلِمَةً لَمْ أَسْمَعْهَا فَقَالَ أَبِي: إِنَّهُ قَالَ: كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ
Hazrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "There will be twelve leaders (amirs) in my ummah." Then he said something which I did not hear. Later, my father informed me that he (the Prophet) said, "All of them will be from the Quraysh."
