It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent an army towards Najd. Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was also with the army. The army obtained a large number of camels as spoils of war. Therefore, each soldier received twelve or eleven camels as his share, and one additional camel as a reward.
