Hadith 1104
1104 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ جَاءُوا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرُوا لَهُ أَنَّ رَجُلاً مِنْهُمْ وَامْرَأَةً زَنَيَا فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَا تَجِدُونَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ فِي شَأْنِ الرَّجْمِ فَقَالُوا: نَفْضَحُهُمْ وَيُجْلَدُونَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ: كَذَبْتُمْ إِنَّ فِيهَا الرَّجْمَ فَأَتَوْا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَنَشَرُوهَا، فَوَضَعَ أَحَدُهُمْ يَدَهُ عَلَى آيَةِ الرَّجْمِ، فَقَرَأَ مَا قَبْلَهَا وَمَا بَعْدَهَا؛ فَقَالَ لَه عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ: ارْفَعْ يَدكَ فَرَفَعَ يَدَهُ، فَإِذَا فِيهَا آيَةُ الرَّجْمِ فَقَالُوا: صَدَقَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ فِيهَا آيَةُ الرَّجْمِ فَأَمَرَ بِهِمَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَرُجِمَا قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ: فَرَأَيْتُ الرَّجُلَ يَجْنَأُ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ، يَقِيهَا الْحِجَارَةَ
Narrated Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Jews came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him that a man and a woman among them had committed adultery. He asked them, "What is the ruling in the Torah regarding stoning?" They replied, "We disgrace them and flog them." At this, Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "You are lying. The command of stoning is present in the Torah. Bring the Torah." Then the Jews brought the Torah and opened it, but a Jew covered the verse about stoning with his hand and began to read what was before and after it. Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Lift your hand." When he lifted his hand, the verse of stoning was there. Then they all said, "O Muhammad! Abdullah bin Salam has spoken the truth. Indeed, the verse of stoning is present in the Torah." So, by the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), both of them were stoned. Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that at the time of stoning, he saw the Jewish man leaning over the woman, shielding her from the stones.
Hadith 1105
1105 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى، هَلْ رَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: نَعَمْ قُلْتُ: قَبْلَ سُورَةِ النُّورِ أَمْ بَعْدُ قَالَ: لاَ أَدْرِي
Shaibani says that I asked Abdullah bin Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ever stone anyone?" He said, "Yes." I asked, "Was it before or after Surah An-Nur?" He said, "I do not know."
Hadith 1106
1106 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِذَا زَنَتِ الأَمَةُ فَتَبَيَّنَ زِنَاهَا، فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَلْيَجْلِدْهَا وَلاَ يُثَرِّبْ، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتِ الثَّالِثَةَ فَلْيبِعْهَا وَلَوْ بِحَبْلٍ مِنْ شَعَرٍ
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When any man's slave-girl commits fornication and her fornication is proven (legally), then he should have her flogged, but he should not reproach her. Then if she commits fornication again, he should have her flogged again, but he should not reproach her. Then if she commits fornication a third time, he should sell her, even if it is for a rope of hair.
Hadith 1107
1107 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الأَمَةِ، إِذَا زَنَتْ وَلَمْ تُحْصِنْ، قَالَ: إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) and Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked, "If an unmarried slave-girl commits adultery (what is the ruling for her)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Flog her." If she commits adultery again, then flog her again. If she still commits adultery, then sell her, even if it is in exchange for only a rope.
