Hadith 1097
1097 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The thief's hand will be cut off for (stealing) a quarter dinar.
Hadith 1098
1098 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَطَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَ سارِقٍ فِي مِجَنٍّ ثَمَنُهُ ثَلاَثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the hand to be cut off for a shield whose price was three dirhams.
Hadith 1099
1099 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: لَعَنَ اللهُ السَّارِقَ، يَسْرِقُ الْبَيْضَةَ فَتُقْطَعُ يَدُهُ؛ وَيَسْرِقُ الْحَبْلَ فَتُقْطَعُ يَدُهُ
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah has cursed the thief who steals an egg and his hand is cut off, or steals a rope and his hand is cut off.
