Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Sulaiman bin Dawood (peace be upon them) said: "Tonight I will go to all one hundred of my wives (and as a result of this intimacy), each woman will give birth to a boy, so that one hundred boys will be born who will fight in the way of Allah." An angel said to him, "Say Insha'Allah (if Allah wills)," but he did not say it and forgot. So he went to all his wives, but none of them gave birth except one, and even she gave birth to only half a child. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If he had said Insha'Allah, his wish would have been fulfilled and there would have been more hope for his desire to be realized."

Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Sulaiman bin Dawood (peace be upon him) said, "Tonight I will go to my seventy wives, and each wife will give birth to a horseman who will fight in the way of Allah." His companion said, "InshaAllah (if Allah wills)," but he did not say it. Consequently, none of the wives gave birth except one, and even she gave birth to a child who was incomplete on one side. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that if Sulaiman (peace be upon him) had said "InshaAllah," (then children would have been born to all of them) and they would have fought in the way of Allah.
