Hadith 999
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made an agreement with the Jews of Khyber regarding the land there, that half of the produce, fruits, crops, and whatever was yielded would be theirs. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to give his wives one hundred wasqs from this, of which eighty wasqs were dates and twenty wasqs were barley. Then, during his caliphate, Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), when he distributed the land of Khyber, gave the noble wives the choice that if they wished, they could be given water and a piece of land there, or the previous arrangement could remain. So, some preferred to take the land, and some preferred to take the wasqs (from the produce). Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) preferred to take the land.

Hadith 1000
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) expelled the Jews and Christians from the land of Hijaz. And when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) conquered Khaybar, he also intended to expel the Jews from there. When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gained victory over it, its land became the property of Allah, His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the Muslims. He intended to expel the Jews from there, but the Jews requested the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to let them stay there. They said, "We will do all the work (of the land of Khaybar) ourselves and will take half of its produce." Upon this, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Alright, we will let you stay here on this condition as long as we wish." So they remained there, and then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exiled them towards Tayma and Ariha. (Because they were always secretly plotting against the Muslims)
