Hadith 928
928 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ َلأرْبَعٍ: لِمَالِهَا وَلِحَسَبِهَا وَجَمَالِهَا وَلِدِينِهَا، فَاظْفَرْ بِذَاتِ الدِّينِ، تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكَ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A woman is married for four reasons: for her wealth, for her family status, for her beauty, and for her religion. So attain success by marrying a religious woman, otherwise your hands will be dusted (i.e., in the end you will regret it).
