Hadith 818
818 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: حَلَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had his head shaved on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage.
Hadith 819
819 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ اللهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقينَ قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: اللهُمَّ ارْحَمِ الْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ، يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: وَالْمُقَصِّرِينَ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated: O Allah! Have mercy on those who shave their heads! The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted: And those who trim their hair, O Messenger of Allah? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again supplicated: O Allah! Have mercy on those who shave their heads! The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) again submitted: And those who trim their hair, O Messenger of Allah? Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: And those who trim their hair as well.
Hadith 820
820 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا: وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَ: اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُحَلِّقِينَ قَالُوا: وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ قَالَهَا ثَلاَثًا قَالَ: وَلِلْمُقَصِّرِينَ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicated: "O Allah! Forgive those who have their heads shaved!" The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted, "And (pray) for those who have their hair cut short as well." But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) again said, "O Allah! Forgive those who have their heads shaved." Then the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted, "And for those who have their hair cut short as well!" The third time, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "And forgive those who have their hair cut short as well."
