Hadith 648
648 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِلَحْمٍ تُصُدِّقَ بِهِ عَلَى بَرِيرَةَ، فَقَالَ: هُوَ عَلَيْهَا صَدَقَةٌ، وَهُوَ لَنَا هَدِيَّةٌ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that meat was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which had been given to Barirah as charity. He said: "This meat was charity for her, but for us it is a gift."
Hadith 649
649 صحيح حديث أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ الأَنْصَارِيَّةِ، قَالَتْ: دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى عَائِشَة، فَقَالَ: هَلْ عِنْدَكُمْ شَيْءٌ فَقَالَتْ: لاَ إِلاَّ شَيْءٌ بَعَثَتْ بِهِ إِلَيْنَا نُسَيْبَةُ مِنَ الشَّاةِ الَّتِي بَعَثْتَ بِهَا مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهَا قَدْ بَلَغَتْ مَحِلَّهَا
Sayyidah Umm ‘Atiyyah Ansariyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Sayyidah ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and asked, “Do you have anything (to eat)?” Sayyidah ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) replied, “No, we have nothing except some meat from a goat that Nasibah sent us, which she had received as charity.” So he said, “Bring it, for charity has reached its rightful place.”
