Hadith 643
643 صحيح حديث عَلِيٍّ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: إِذَا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلأَنْ أَخِرَّ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَكْذِبَ عَلَيْهِ، وَإِذَا حدَّثْتُكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ، فَإِنَّ الْحَرْبَ خَدْعَةٌ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ: يَأْتِي فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ قَوْمٌ، حُدَثَاءُ الأَسْنَانِ، سُفَهَاءُ الأَحْلاَمِ، يَقُولُونَ مِنْ خَيْرِ قَوْلِ الْبَرِيَّةِ، يَمْرُقُونَ مِنَ الإِسْلاَمِ كَمَا يَمْرُقُ السَّهْمُ مِنَ الرَّمِيَّةِ، لاَ يُجَاوِزُ إِيمَانُهُمْ حَنَاجِرَهُمْ، فَأَيْنَمَا لَقِيتُمُوهُمْ فَاقْتُلُوهُمْ، فَإِنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ لِمَنْ قَتَلَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when I relate something to you from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), then consider that for me, falling from the sky is better than attributing a lie to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). However, when I say something to you from myself, then know that war is but strategy and deception (so if I say something made up in this context, it is possible). Listen, I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he used to say: In the last era, some people will emerge who will have small teeth, be of little intellect and foolish. They will say words that are the best of words in the world, but they will have exited Islam as cleanly as an arrow passes through an animal. Their faith will not go below their throats. Wherever you find them, kill them, for the one who kills them will receive a reward on the Day of Resurrection.
