Hadith 622
622 صحيح حديث أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: لَوْ أَنَّ لاِبْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَادِيَانِ، وَلَنْ يَمْلأَ فَاهُ إِلاَّ التُّرَابُ، وَيَتُوبُ اللهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If a man had a valley full of gold, he would wish that it were two, and nothing fills his mouth except the dust of the grave. And Allah accepts the repentance of the one who repents.
Hadith 623
623 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ: لَوْ أَنَّ لاِبْنِ آدَمَ مِلْءَ وَادٍ مَالاً لأَحَبَّ أَنَّ لَهُ إِلَيْهِ مِثْلَهُ، وَلاَ يَمْلأُ عَيْنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ إِلاَّ التُّرَابُ، وَيَتُوبُ اللهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: If a man possesses a valley full of wealth (sheep and goats), he would wish that he had another one like it, and nothing fills the eye of man except dust. And whoever repents to Allah, He accepts his repentance.
