Hadith 620
620 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ: لاَ يَزَالُ قَلْبُ الْكَبِيرِ شَابًّا فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ: فِي حُبِّ الدُّنْيَا وَطُولِ الأَمَلِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: The heart of an old person remains young in regard to two things: love for the world and long hopes for life.
Hadith 621
621 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : يَكْبَرُ ابْنُ آدَمَ وَيَكْبَرُ مَعَهُ اثْنَانِ: حُبُّ الْمَالِ وَطُولُ الْعُمُرِ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: As a person grows older, two things grow within him: love for wealth and desire for a longer life.
