Hadith 555
555 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ نَعَى النَّجَاشِيَّ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ، خَرَجَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى فَصَفَّ بِهِمْ وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the news of Najashi's death was given on the same day he passed away. The Prophet went to the place of prayer, formed rows, and said four takbirs.
Hadith 556
556 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: نَعَى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّجَاشِيَّ، صَاحِبَ الْحَبَشَةِ، الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ، فَقَالَ: اسْتَغْفِرُوا َلأخِيكُمْ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us of the death of the Negus of Abyssinia on the very day he passed away. He said, "Seek forgiveness from Allah for your brother."
Hadith 557
557 صحيح حديث جَابِرٍ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيِّ، فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for Ashamah Najashi and said four takbirs.
Hadith 558
558 صحيح حديث جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَدْ تُوُفِّيَ الْيَوْمَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ مِنَ الْحَبَشِ، فَهَلُمَّ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ: فَصَفَفْنَا، فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ، وَنَحْنُ صُفُوفٌ
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Today, a righteous man from Abyssinia (the Negus, king of Abyssinia) has passed away. Come, let us offer his funeral prayer." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that then we formed rows and the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led his funeral prayer while we stood in rows.
