Hadith 497
497 صحيح حديث سَهْلٍ، قَالَ: مَا كُنَّا نَقِيلُ وَلاَ نَتَغَدَّى إِلاَّ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that we used to have our afternoon nap and lunch after the Friday prayer.
Hadith 498
498 صحيح حديث سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الأَكْوَعِ قَالَ: كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجُمُعَةَ ثُمَّ نَنْصَرِفُ وَلَيْسَ لِلْحِيطَانِ ظِلٌّ نَسْتَظِلُّ فِيهِ
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when we would return after offering the Friday prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the shade of the walls would not yet be such that we could rest in it.
