Hadith 461
461 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَهُو حَافِظٌ لَهُ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الْكِرَامِ، وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ وَهُوَ يَتَعَاهَدُهُ، وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَدِيدٌ، فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ
Narrated by Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: The example of the person who recites the Qur'an and has memorized it is like that of the noble and righteous scribes (angels), and the person who recites the Qur'an repeatedly, though it is difficult for him, will have a double reward.
