Hadith 445
445 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: اجْعَلُوا فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ مِنْ صَلاَتِكُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّخِذُوهَا قُبُورًا
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Offer prayers in your houses also, and do not make them like graveyards."
Hadith 446
446 صحيح حديث أَبِي مُوسى رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَذْكُرُ رَبَّهُ وَالَّذِي لاَ يَذْكُرُ مَثَلُ الْحَيِّ وَالْمَيِّتِ
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The example of the one who remembers his Lord and the one who does not remember his Lord is like that of the living and the dead.
Hadith 447
447 صحيح حديث زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اتَّخَذَ حُجْزَةً، مِنْ حَصِيرٍ، في رَمَضَانَ، فَصَلَّى فِيهَا لَيَالِيَ، فَصَلَّى بِصَلاَتِهِ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، فَلَمَّا عَلِمَ بِهِمْ جَعَلَ يَقْعُدُ، فَخَرَجَ إِلَيْهِمْ، فَقَالَ: قَدْ عَرَفْتُ الَّذِي رَأَيْتُ مِنْ صَنِيعِكُمْ، فَصَلُّوا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ فَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الصَّلاَةِ صَلاَةُ الْمَرْءِ فِي بَيْتِهِ إِلاَّ الْمَكْتُوبَة
Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made a small room out of a mat or set up a screen during Ramadan. He prayed in it for several nights. Some of the companions followed him in prayer during those nights. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became aware of this, he began to sit and stopped leading the prayer. Then he came out and said, "I know what you did, but people, continue to pray in your homes, for the best prayer of a person is that which he performs in his house, except for the obligatory prayer (which should be performed in the mosque)."
