Hadith 423
423 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ، وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الظُّهْرِ، وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَسَجْدَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْجُمُعَةِ؛ فَأَمَّا الْمَغْرِبُ وَالْعِشَاءُ، فَفِي بَيْتِهِ
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that I offered two rak‘ahs of Sunnah before Zuhr with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), two rak‘ahs of Sunnah after Zuhr, two rak‘ahs of Sunnah after Maghrib, two rak‘ahs of Sunnah after ‘Isha, and two rak‘ahs of Sunnah after Jumu‘ah. And the Sunnah prayers of Maghrib and ‘Isha he used to offer at home.
