Hadith 357
357 صحيح حديثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the heat becomes intense, perform the prayer at a cooler time, for the severity of heat is from the boiling of the fire of Hell.
Hadith 358
358 صحيح حديث أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الظُّهْرَ، فَقَالَ: أَبْرِدْ أَبْرِدْ أَوْ قَالَ: انْتَظِرْ انْتَظِرْ، وَقَالَ: شِدَّةُ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ، فَإِذَا اشْتَدَّ الْحَرُّ فَأَبْرِدُوا عَنِ الصَّلاَةِ حَتَّى رَأَيْنَا فَيْءَ التُّلُولِ
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) muezzin (Sayyiduna Bilal, may Allah be pleased with him) gave the call to prayer for Zuhr, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Cool it, cool it,” or he said: “Wait, wait,” and he said: “The intensity of the heat is from the boiling of the fire of Hell, so when the heat becomes severe, perform the prayer at a cooler time.” (Then the call to prayer for Zuhr was given at a time) when we could see the shadows of the mounds.
Hadith 359
359 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: اشْتَكَتِ النَّارُ إِلَى رَبِّهَا، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَبِّ أَكَلَ بَعْضِي بَعْضًا؛ فَأَذِنَ لَهَا بِنَفَسَيْنِ، نَفَسٍ فِي الشِّتَاءِ وَنَفَسٍ فِي الصَّيْفِ، فَهُوَ أَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الْحَرِّ، وَأَشَدُّ مَا تَجِدُونَ مِنَ الزَّمْهَرِيرِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When the heat becomes intense, perform the prayer at a cooler time, because the severity of heat is due to the boiling of the Hellfire. Hell complained to its Lord, saying: O my Lord, some parts of mine have consumed other parts due to the intensity of the heat. So Allah, the Exalted, allowed it two breaths: one breath in the winter and one breath in the summer. Thus, the extreme heat and extreme cold that you experience are due to this.
