Hadith 319
319 صحيح حديث عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى بُصَاقًا فِي جِدَارَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَحَكَّهُ، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى النَّاسِ، فَقَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ يُصَلِّي فَلاَ يَبْصُقْ قِبَلَ وَجْههِ، فَإِنَّ اللهَ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ إِذَا صَلَّى
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw phlegm on the wall of the Qiblah, so he scraped it off, and addressing the people, he said: When any person is in prayer, he should not spit in front of him, because during prayer, Allah Almighty is before his face.
Hadith 320
320 صحيح حديث أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْصَرَ نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَكَّهَا بِحَصَاةٍ، ثُمَّ نَهى أَنْ يَبْزُقَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، أَوْ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَلكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw phlegm on the qiblah wall of the mosque, so he scraped it off with a pebble. Then he said: No person should spit in front of him or to his right side, but rather he should spit to his left side or under his foot.
Hadith 321
321 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي جِدَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَتَنَاوَلَ حَصَاةً فَحَكَّهَا، فَقَالَ: إِذَا تَنَخَّمَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلاَ يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ، وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُسْرَى
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw phlegm on the wall of the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took a pebble and cleaned it. Then he said: When any person spits, he should not spit in front of him or to his right side, but rather to his left side or under his foot.
Hadith 322
322 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي جِدار الْقِبْلَةِ مُخاطًا، أَوْ بُصَاقًا، أَوْ نُخَامةً فَحَكَّهُ
Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw nasal mucus (discharge from the nose), saliva, or phlegm on the Qiblah wall, so he (peace be upon him) scraped it off.
Hadith 323
323 صحيح حديث أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا كَانَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ فَإِنَّمَا يُنَاجِي رَبَّهُ، فَلاَ يَبْزُقَنَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلاَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَلكِنْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَو تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When a believer is in prayer, he is whispering to his Lord, so he should not spit in front of him or to his right side; rather, he should spit to his left side or under his foot.
Hadith 324
324 صحيح حديث أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْبُزَاق فِي الْمَسْجِدِ خَطِيئَةٌ وَكَفَّارَتُهَا دَفْنُهَا
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spitting in the mosque is a sin, and its expiation is to bury it (in the ground).
