Hadith 166
Hadith Narrator: Sayyida Asma bint Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with her) had the kunyah Umm Abdullah. She accepted Islam in the very beginning. She was ten years older than Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She was the wife of Sayyiduna Zubair, the cousin of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). She was known by the title "Dhat an-Nitaqayn" (the possessor of two belts). She was pregnant at the time of migration, and from this pregnancy, Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) was born. She advised her son, saying, "O my son, live a life of honor and die an honorable death, and let not the enemy make you a captive." She passed away in Makkah in the year 73 Hijri, at the age of one hundred, ten or twenty days after the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him).
