Hadith 145
145 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: الْفِطْرَة خَمْسٌ أَوْ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ: الْخِتَانُ، وَالاِسْتِحْدَادُ، وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ، وتَقْلِيمُ الأَظْفَارِ، وَقَصُّ الشَّارِبِ
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that five things are from the natural disposition (or he said: five things are from the fitrah): circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpit hair, trimming the nails, and shortening the mustache.
Hadith 146
146 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ: خَالِفُوا الْمُشْرِكِينَ، وَفِّرُوا اللِّحَى وَأَحْفُوا الشَّوَارِبَ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do the opposite of the polytheists; let the beard grow and trim the moustache closely."
Hadith 147
147 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : أنْهِكوا الشَّوَارِبَ وَأَعْفُوا اللِّحَى
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Trim the moustaches well and let the beard grow.
