Hadith 142
142 صحيح
Syedna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If I had not feared hardship for my ummah or for the people, I would have commanded the use of the miswak for every prayer.
Hadith 143
143 صحيح حديث أَبِي مُوسى قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَوَجَدْتُهُ يَسْتَنُّ بِسِوَاكٍ بِيَدِهِ، يَقُولُ: أُعْ أُعْ وَالسِّوَاكُ فِي فِيهِ كَأَنَّهُ يَتَهَوَّعُ
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I once came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and found him using a miswak with his hand, and a sound of "ugh" was coming from his mouth, and the miswak was in his mouth as if he were about to vomit.
Hadith 144
144 صحيح حديث حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ يَشُوص فَاهُ بِالسِّوَاكِ
Sayyiduna Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would get up at night, he would clean his mouth with a miswak.
