Hadith 139
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said that during a journey which we undertook (in the company of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him), the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) lagged behind us (this journey was from Makkah to Madinah), and he joined us when the time for (‘Asr) prayer had arrived. We were performing ablution (hurriedly), so instead of washing our feet thoroughly, we were just passing water over them. (Seeing this condition) the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called out in a loud voice: “Woe to the heels from the Fire!” two or three times he (peace and blessings be upon him) said this in a loud voice.

Once, Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by and people were performing ablution with a water jug. He said, "Perform ablution thoroughly, for Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Woe to the heels from the fire (of Hell).'"
