Hadith 58
58 صحيح حديثُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعودٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ ماتَ يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ النَّارَ وَقُلْتُ أَنا: مَنْ ماتَ لا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever dies while associating partners with Allah will enter Hell, and I say that whoever dies without associating any partner with Allah will enter Paradise.
Hadith 59
59 صحيح حديث أَبي ذَرٍّ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتانِي آتٍ مِنْ رَبّي فَأَخْبَرَني، أَوْ قَالَ بَشَّرَني، أَنَّهُ مَنْ ماتَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ قلْتُ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (In a dream, a visitor from my Lord) came to me (an angel), he informed me—or you said: he gave me glad tidings—that whoever from my Ummah dies in such a state that he has not associated anything with Allah, he will enter Paradise. (Sayyiduna Abu Dharr [may Allah be pleased with him] says:) Upon this I asked, "Even if he has committed adultery, even if he has stolen?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Yes, even if he has committed adultery, even if he has stolen."
Hadith 60
60 صحيح حديث أَبي ذَرٍّ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ أَبْيَضُ وَهُوَ نائِمٌ، ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ وَقَدِ اسْتَيْقَظَ، فَقالَ: ما مَنْ عَبْدٍ قَالَ لا إِلهَ إِلاّ اللهُ ثُمَّ ماتَ عَلى ذَلِكَ إِلاّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ قُلْتُ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ، قُلْتُ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ، قُلْتُ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ قَالَ: وَإِنْ زَنى وَإِنْ سَرَقَ عَلى رَغْمِ أَنْفِ أَبي ذَرٍّ وَكانَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ إِذا حَدَّثَ بِهذا قَالَ وَإِنْ رَغِمَ أَنْفُ أَبي ذَرٍّ
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he was wearing a white garment and was sleeping. Then I came again and he had woken up. Then he said: Whoever among the servants accepts the statement "La ilaha illallah" (There is no deity except Allah) and dies upon it, will enter Paradise. I asked, even if he committed adultery? Even if he committed theft? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Even if he committed adultery, even if he committed theft. I asked again, even if he committed adultery? Even if he committed theft? He said: Even if he committed adultery, even if he committed theft. I (out of amazement) asked again, even if he committed adultery or committed theft? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Even if he committed adultery, even if he committed theft. Whenever Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith later, he would certainly mention the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Even if Abu Dharr's nose is rubbed in dust."
