Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever possesses four habits is a pure hypocrite, and whoever has one of these four habits has a trait of hypocrisy until he gives it up: when he is entrusted, he betrays the trust; when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he quarrels, he abuses.
