Hadith 26
26 صحيح حديث أَنَسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ثَلاثٌ مَنْ كُنَّ فِيهِ وَجَدَ حَلاوَةَ الإِيمانِ، أَنْ يَكُونَ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَحَبَّ إِلَيْهِ مِمّا سِواهُما، وَأَنْ يُحِبَّ الْمَرْءَ لا يُحِبُّهُ إِلاّ للهِ، وَأَنْ يَكْرَهَ أَنْ يَعُودَ في الْكُفْرِ كَما يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُقْذَفَ في النَّارِ
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are three qualities, whoever possesses them has tasted the sweetness of faith. First, that Allah and His Messenger are more beloved to him than anything else. Second, that he loves a person solely for the sake of Allah. Third, that he hates to return to disbelief as much as he would hate to be thrown into the fire.
