Hadith 21
21 صحيح حديث أَبي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: الإِيمانُ بِضْعٌ وَسِتُّونَ شُعْبَةً وَالْحَياءُ شُعْبَةٌ مِنَ الإِيمانِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Faith has over sixty branches, and modesty (shyness) is a branch of faith.
Hadith 22
22 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّ عَلى رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصارِ وَهُوَ يَعِظُ أَخَاهُ في الْحَياءِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : دَعْهُ فَإِنَّ الْحَياءَ مِنَ الإِيمانِ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by an Ansari man while he was saying to his brother, "Why do you feel so much shyness?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him (the Ansari), "Leave him to his state, for modesty is indeed a part of faith."
Hadith 23
23 صحيح حديث عِمَرانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : الْحَياءُ لا يَأتي إِلاّ بِخَيْرٍ
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Modesty always brings about goodness.
