Hadith 89

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (Near the Day of Judgment) faith will withdraw to Madinah just as a snake withdraws into its hole.

Brief Explanation
That is, just as a snake comes out of its hole or burrow and seeks sustenance for its life, then when someone sees it, it returns to its burrow and coils up, in the same way, faith (iman) spread and dispersed from Madinah. Thus, every believer’s soul draws him towards Madinah due to the love for its people, because the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had love for the people of Madinah.
