Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrated that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would go to Makkah, he would stay at the place of Dhi Tuwa and spend the night there. When morning came, he would perform the Fajr prayer there. The place where the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed was on a large mound, not in the mosque that is now built there, but rather on a large mound below it.
