Hadith 73

Sayyiduna Jundub bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In times past, a man received a wound and suffered greatly from it. Eventually, he took a knife and cut his hand, as a result of which blood flowed and he died from it. Then Allah the Exalted said: My servant hastened himself to Me (by taking his own life), so I have made Paradise forbidden for him.
