Brief Explanation
Hadith Narrator: The kunyah of Sayyiduna Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman radi Allahu anhu was Abu Abdullah. He was among the select and distinguished Companions. His father, Husayl, had killed a man from his own tribe, then fled and sought refuge in Madinah, where he became an ally of Banu Abd al-Ashhal. For this reason, his tribe gave him the name "Yaman." He is a narrator of foundational hadiths, among which twelve are agreed upon (muttafaqun alayh). After the martyrdom of Sayyiduna Uthman radi Allahu anhu, he passed away in Mada'in.
