585 صحيح حديث أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هَلْ لِي مِنْ أَجْرٍ فِي بَنِي أَبِي سَلَمَةَ أَنْ أُنْفِقَ عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلَسْتُ بِتَارِكَتِهِمْ هكَذَا وَهكَذَا، إِنَّمَا هُمْ بَنِيَّ قَالَ: نَعَمْ لَكِ أَجْرُ مَا أَنْفَقْتِ عَلَيْهِمْ
Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, will I receive a reward for spending on the sons of Abu Salama (her first husband)? I cannot bear to see them in need; after all, they are my sons." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Yes, you will receive a reward for everything you spend on them."
