Brief Explanation
Hadith Narrator: The real name of Sayyidah Umm ‘Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah radi Allahu anha is Sayyidah Nusaybah bint al-Harith radi Allahu anha. In accordance with the command of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, she used to perform the ritual bath (ghusl) for the deceased. She was also the one who performed the ritual bath (ghusl) for the Prophet’s sallallahu alayhi wa sallam daughter, Sayyidah Zaynab radi Allahu anha.
