Hadith 449

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me (one day) when a woman was sitting with me. He inquired, "Who is this?" I replied, "So-and-so woman," and mentioned her enthusiasm and regularity in prayer. He said, "Wait (listen), only as much action is obligatory upon you as you have the strength for. By Allah, Allah does not get tired (of giving reward), but you will get tired (of performing deeds). And the deed most beloved to Allah in religion is that which is done consistently (and a person performs it without getting weary)."
