364 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلاَةُ الْعَصْرِ كَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever misses the Asr prayer, it is as if his house and wealth have been lost.
Brief Explanation
Whoever misses the ‘Asr prayer, it is as if his family and wealth have been taken away from him, and he has been left alone. Just as he fears the loss of his family and wealth, in the same way he should strive to avoid missing the ‘Asr prayer. (Murattib rahimahullah)
