Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on hearing and obeying, so he instructed me to the extent of my ability, and also to pledge allegiance on wishing well for every Muslim.

Brief Explanation
Hadith Narrator: The kunyah of Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah al-Bajali radi Allahu anhu was Abu Amr or Abu Abdullah. Due to being the narrator of the hadith regarding the death of Najashi, Hafiz Ibn Hajar rahimahullah has written that he accepted Islam before the tenth year of Hijrah. He was very handsome and young; that is why Sayyiduna Umar radi Allahu anhu said that he is the Yusuf of this Ummah. He settled in Kufa, and later took up residence in Qirqisya, and passed away in either 51 or 54 Hijri.
