33 صحيح حديث أَبي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: رَأْسُ الْكُفْرِ نَحْوَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالْفَخْرُ وَالْخُيَلاءُ في أَهْلِ الْخَيْلِ وَالإِبِلِ وَالْفَدَّادينَ أَهْلِ الْوَبَرِ، وَالسَّكينَةُ في أَهْلِ الْغَنَمِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The peak of disbelief is in the East, and pride and arrogance are found among those who keep horses, camels, and landowners, who are usually the inhabitants of villages, while tranquility is found among those who keep goats."
Brief Explanation
The peak of disbelief in the East was foretold. Because, in relation to the Arabs, Iran, Turan, all these are situated in the East. In that era, the kings of these regions were extremely arrogant. The king of Iran had torn up the letter of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. (Raaz)
