296 صحيح حديث عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُشْتَمِلاً بِهِ، فِي بَيْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، وَاضِعًا طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ
Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying in the house of Sayyidah Umm Salamah, wrapped in a single garment, with its two ends thrown over his two shoulders.

Brief Explanation
Hadith Narrator: Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah radi Allahu anhu, whose kunyah is Abu Hafs al-Qurashi. He was raised in the lap of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, meaning he was the son of his stepchild (Rabib). He was born a few years before the Hijrah. His father, Sayyiduna Abu Salamah radi Allahu anhu, passed away in the third year after Hijrah. It was he who arranged the marriage of his mother, Umm al-Mu’minin Umm Salamah radi Allahu anha, to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was his foster uncle. He passed away in Madinah Munawwarah in the year 83 AH, during the caliphate of Abdul Malik bin Marwan.
