205 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: وَجَدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَاةً مَيِّتَةً أُعْطِيَتْهَا مَولاَةٌ لمَيْمُونَةَ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : هَلاَّ انْتَفَعْتُمْ بِجِلْدِهَا، قَالُوا: إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ؛ قَالَ: إِنَّمَا حَرُمَ أَكْلُهَا
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a goat belonging to the slave woman of Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), which had been given in charity, lying dead. Upon this, he said, "Why do you not make use of its skin?" The people said, "It is dead." He replied, "Its consumption is forbidden, but not its use."
