Hadith 192

A woman asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) whether the prayers missed during the period of menstruation are sufficient for us to make up only for the days when we are pure. Upon this, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Are you a Haruriyyah (i.e., from the Khawarij)?" In the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to menstruate and he did not command us to make up the prayers, or Sayyida Aisha said, "We did not pray (during menstruation)."
