1904 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لاِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، سُورَةُ التَّوْبَةِ قَالَ: التَّوْبَةُ هِيَ الْفَاضِحَةُ مَا زَالَتْ تَنْزِلُ (وَمِنْهُمْ، وَمِنْهُمْ) ، حَتَّى ظَنُّوا أَنَّها لَمْ تُبْقِ أَحَدًا مِنْهُمْ إِلاَّ ذُكِرَ فِيهَا قَالَ: قُلْتُ: سُورَةُ الأَنْفَالِ قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ فِي بَدْر قَالَ: قُلْتُ، سُورَةُ الْحَشْرِ قَالَ: نَزَلَتْ فِي بَنِي النَّضِيرِ
Saeed bin Jubair narrated that I asked Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) about "Surah At-Tawbah," so he said: This is the Surah of Repentance or the one that exposes. In this Surah, it kept being revealed: "Some people are like this and some people are like that," until people thought that this Surah would not leave anyone unmentioned, rather it would expose the secrets of all. Saeed narrated that I asked about Surah Al-Anfal, so he said: It was revealed about the Battle of Badr. He narrated that I asked about Surah Al-Hashr, so he said: It was revealed about the Jews of the tribe of Banu Nadir.
