1761 صحيح حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ الْمَازِنِيِّ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا أَنَا أَمْشِي مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، آخِذٌ بِيَدِهِ، إِذْ عَرَضَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: كَيْفَ سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي النَّجْوَى فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّ اللهَ يُدْنِي الْمُؤْمِنَ، فَيَضَعُ عَلَيْهِ كَنَفَهُ وَيَسْترُهُ: فَيَقُولُ: أَتَعْرِفُ ذَنْبَ كَذَا أَتَعْرِفُ ذَنْبَ كَذَا فَيَقُولُ: نَعَمْ أَيْ رَبِّ حَتَّى إِذَا قَرَّرَهُ بِذُنوبِهِ، وَرَأَى فِي نَفْسِهِ أَنَّهُ هَلَكَ قَالَ: سَتَرْتُهَا عَليْكَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَأَنَا أَغْفِرُهَا لَكَ الْيَوْمَ فَيُعْطَى كِتَابَ حَسَنَاتِهِ وَأَمَّا الْكَافِرُ وَالْمُنَافِقُونَ فَيَقُولُ الأَشْهَادُ: هؤُلاَءِ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا عَلَى رَبِّهِمْ أَلاَ لَعْنَةُ اللهِ عَلَى الظَّالِمِينَ
Safwan bin Muhriz Mazni narrated that I was holding the hand of Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) when a man came forward and asked, "What have you heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the private conversation (munajat) between Allah and His servant on the Day of Resurrection?" Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Allah will bring the believer close to Him, will cover him with His screen, and will conceal him. Allah will say to him, 'Do you remember such-and-such sin? Do you remember such-and-such sin?' The believer will say, 'Yes, O my Lord.' When he will confess his sins and will think that he is ruined, Allah will say, 'I concealed your sins for you in the world, and today I forgive you.' Then he will be given the record of his good deeds. But as for the disbelievers and hypocrites, witnesses (the angels, the prophets, and all jinn and mankind) will say about them, 'These are the ones who lied against their Lord.' Behold! The curse of Allah is upon the wrongdoers."
