Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) complained (to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him) about the hardship of grinding grain. After that, some captives came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so Hazrat Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) came to him, but he was not present. She met Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and spoke to her about this matter. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him of Hazrat Fatimah’s visit. Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself came to our house. At that time, we had already lain down on our beds. I wanted to stand up, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Stay as you are.” Then he sat down between us, and I felt the coolness of his feet on my chest. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Shall I not tell you something better than what you have asked for? When you go to bed, recite Allahu Akbar thirty-four times, Subhan Allah thirty-three times, and Alhamdulillah thirty-three times. This practice is better for you than having a servant.”
