1705 صحيح حديث عَائِشَةَ رضي الله عنها، قَالَتْ: تَلاَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هذِهِ الآيَةَ (هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فيَتَّبِعُون مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ) إِلَى قَوْلِهِ (أُولُو الأَلْبَابِ) قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: فَإِذَا رَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ يَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ فَأُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ سَمَّى اللهُ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "He it is Who has sent down to you the Book; in it are clear and firm verses—they are the foundation of the Book—and others are ambiguous. So as for those in whose hearts is deviation, they follow that which is ambiguous from it, seeking discord and seeking its interpretation. But no one knows its true interpretation except Allah. And those firmly grounded in knowledge say: 'We believe in it; all is from our Lord.' And none take heed except those of understanding." Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see those who pursue the ambiguous verses, then know that they are those whom Allah has mentioned (in the above Ayah), so beware of them.
