1699 صحيح حديث سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ، وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ عَمَلَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، فِيمَا يَبْدُو لِلنَّاسِ، وَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
Hazrat Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A man may appear to do the deeds of the people of Paradise throughout his life, while in reality he is among the people of Hell. And a man may appear to do the deeds of the people of Hell, while in reality he is among the people of Paradise.
