Hadith 1664

1664 صحيح حَدِيثُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الخُدْرِيِّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا يُصِيبُ المُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ، وَلاَ وَصَبٍ، وَلاَ هَمِّ، وَلاَ حُزْنٍ، وَلاَ أَذًى، وَلاَ غَمِّ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا؛ إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ الله بِهَا مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ»
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whenever a Muslim is afflicted with any worry, illness, sorrow, distress, or grief—even if a thorn pricks him—Allah, the Exalted, makes it an expiation for his sins.
