1530 صحيح حديث أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضي الله عنه، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: نَحْنُ أَحَقُّ بِالشَكِّ مِنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِذْ قَالَ رَبِّ أَرِنِي كَيْفَ تُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى قَالَ أَوَ لَمْ تُؤْمِنْ قَالَ بَلَى وَلكِنْ لِيَطْمَئِنَّ قَلْبِي وَيَرْحَمُ اللهُ لُوطًا، لَقَدْ كَانَ يَأْوِي إِلَى رُكْنٍ شَدِيدٍ وَلَوْ لَبِثْتُ فِي السِّجْنِ طُولَ مَا لَبِثَ يُوسُفُ لأَجَبْتُ الدَّاعِيَ
Narrated Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: We are more deserving of doubt than Ibrahim (Abraham) when he said: "My Lord! Show me how You give life to the dead." Allah said: "Do you not believe?" He said: "Yes, but (I ask) in order that my heart may be at ease." And may Allah have mercy on Lut (Lot), he used to take refuge in a mighty support (i.e., the protection of the Most Generous Lord). And if I had stayed in prison as long as Yusuf (Joseph) did, I would have responded to the caller.
