Hadith 1502

Narrated Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a choice between two things, he always chose the easier one, as long as it was not sinful. But if it involved sin, he was the farthest from it among the people. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never took revenge for himself, but if the sanctity of Allah was violated, he would take revenge for the sake of Allah.
