Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was the most beautiful and the bravest of all people. One night, a great fear spread in Madinah due to a sound. Everyone rushed towards that sound, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) was ahead of all of them and he himself investigated the incident. He (peace be upon him) was riding a horse belonging to Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him), which had no saddle on its back. A sword was hanging from his neck and he (peace be upon him) was saying, "Do not be afraid." Then he (peace be upon him) said, "We found this horse to be as fast as the sea," or (he said), "The horse is like the sea."
